The row houses designed for Cherry Hill were part of a redevelopment project for downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
The architecture takes advantage of sustainable building practices, such as the use of straw bale insulation, large, south-facing windows, sunshades, and concrete flooring for heat storage and release.
This design won first prize in the HTI Student Design Competition.
